I started teaching at Big Walnut High School in 1989.  

 

 

About Me:

I have lived in Sunbury since 1989.  I am the proud parent of two children who are both BIg Walnut Alumni.  My daughter is a University of Chicago alumni and now attends OSU law school.  My son is a senior at Ohio University. I love spending time with my family and friends.

My Hobbies:

I really enjoy watching Big Walnut Sports.  My favorite sports to watch on tv are basketball and tennis.  I enjoy reading, gardening, walking, nature adventures, and my little dog Reggie.

Latest Project

Helpful things to know about my use of Powerschool:

As soon as an assignment is graded, it will be posted on powershool.  Often times it takes a while longer for me to enter the grades earned for quizes and tests.  If the assignment is recorded as a zero and missing, then the student was absent.  If it is recorded as a zero but not marked as "missing" then the student was present in class.  If a student misses a quiz or test, it will be marked as a zero until it is made up.  This is to ensure that the student knows what their grade is without making up the assessment.  The student has one week to make up the work.
